Resume:

Zhongxiang Wang received his Ph.D. in Physics in 2004 from Department of Physics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  He then worked as a postdoctoral scholar at MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research and Department of Physics of McGill University, Canada in 2004—2006 and 2006-2009, respectively.  He joined Shanghai Astronomical Observatory in 2009 and has been working as a research professor since then. Wang’s main research interests are X-ray binaries, young neutron stars, and more recently Fermi Gamma-ray sources and white-dwarf debris disk systems. He carries out multi-wavelength observational studies of these high-energy and/or compact star systems.
