1983年11月生于上海。2006年毕业于南京大学物理系，2011年上海天文台获得天体物理博士学位。2011-2014年德国马普天体物理研究所博士后，2013年9月至今，上海天文台副研究员。2016年入选中科院青年创新促进会。2017年加入九三学社。迄今(2018年)在国际SCI论文发表论文20余篇，引用次数超过900次，主持多项国家自然科学基金委、中科院、上海市科委项目。

（1）星系形成和演化的半解析模型，主要关注于其中的冷气体成分，包括HI和H₂气体成分等。

（2）结合FAST和SKA等大型射电望远镜，进行中性氢射电观测的模型预言，以及21cm观测数据的分析。

（3）星系化学演化模型，元素丰度等。
